Gardener Wanted for Jonsered Gardens

We are looking for a new gardener to join our wonderful team at Jonsered Gardens, the municipality's green pearl!

The Culture and Leisure Administration is seeking a gardener for our multiple award-winning destination, Jonsered Gardens.

Here, labor market measures and apprenticeship training are conducted. Visitors from all over the country flock here to enjoy a creative, exciting, and ecological garden. We are looking for a structured and development-oriented person with a good sense of order and good physical condition. You will work side by side with another gardener, coordinator, and supervisor within the labor market unit. At Jonsered Gardens, we all actively work to build relationships with visitors and promote the destination both nationally and internationally.

Your Areas of Responsibility:

• Work both physically and strategically in our gardens, guiding apprentices, interns, and participants in labor market measures
• Coordinate work within Partille Grönskar, where we contribute to spreading cultivation knowledge and initiatives throughout the municipality in collaboration with other actors

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Weekend work may occur.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for someone with a gardener's education and several years of experience as a gardener. A B driver's license is required for the position. We seek a team player who is self-assured, unpretentious, and responsible. You have an empathetic ability combined with a professional demeanor. You value diversity in all meetings and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. An important part of our mission is to be flexible and innovative, and to thrive, it is essential that you can quickly adapt to changing circumstances and find creative solutions. Furthermore, we believe you are clear and persistent, with the ability to create structure and order related to tasks and operations. For you, ecological cultivation is a given, and we would like you to have a broad network within the gardening industry. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
